At some point in human evolution, our ancestors interacted with the glamour of the mysterious universe via a mystical curiosity that prompted the nascence of faith and religion.
Man first worshipped intangible objects, uneffectred by human will but seen as grandiose phenomenon. This is how he expressed gratitude to the Supreme being or Creator. That is what this painting depicts. Worship was also complemented with sacrifices and donating precious items.
Additionally, the evolution of faith and religion sustained predictable mutations to match the interest and need of given societies.
Faith and religion run along side the meditation to enhance or ease healing of emotional distress and psychiatric disorders.
