Please feel free to sign the guestbook and tell me what you think of my art!
Welcome to this Gallery and thank you for dropping by..
My name is Mohamed Buwe Osman, a native of Merka Somalia-an ancient historical town known for its beautiful white sandy beaches and stunningly colorful orange dunes- images that are reflected in most of my paintings..
Africa gave me the blessing of exposure to the inspiring world of contemporary art. While attending Medical School in Europe, the beautiful culture nourished my curiosity about Classical Art. North America, being an immigrant, widely opened its window of endless opportunities such as enjoying simultaneously the practice of medicine and art
What I create and present to the world does not reflect primitivity in all respects of art. My works of art follow a continuity of traditional african art further advanced to capture psychosocial, political, cultural, ethnical and medical concepts that are deep, difficult to express in words and philosophically intriguing. Like any other african artists in the world my works of art strive to re discover an acceptable definition of contemporary african art.
My daily care of patients inspires me. It teaches me everyday the true meaning of life, the gift of living and being surrounded by beautiful people, the joy of re discovering the Divine Art- Creation of the Universe..
Thanks
